Your network backbone is only as good as your switch. For a 10G backbone, you need a managed switch that supports:

• 10G SFP+ ports (enough for cluster nodes + NAS)
• VLAN trunking
• Link aggregation (LACP)
• Jumbo frame support
• Low switching latency
